Stationary wind turbines the new moving threat.
By: Saul Salas
During trumps campaign he has made plenty of statements on science whether they were about global warming or how he wanted to stop all movement to countries that have Ebola to not spread to the United States. He has made a statement on Twitter that I'm going to talk about.  “Not only are wind farms disgusting looking, but even worse they are bad for people's health”.
I have heard many statements from trump and I don't believe in these accusations from trump and I'm here to oppose them.
Wind energy is a form of clean energy that doesn't output any pollution what so ever and is entirely dependent on the wind for its fuel. Wind farms are expensive to create for clean energy but as the years pass it is becoming even more cheaper for clean energy sources to be built. Wind energy is also more efficient in powering homes and areas around the country yielding more energy output. http://www.awea.org/Resources/Content.aspx?ItemNumber=900 http://www.wind-watch.org/news/2011/10/07/scientist-says-wind-farms-bad-for-health/
Many people including trump are saying that wind turbines are causing problems in health when living close to such a machine.  Such as headaches and Nausea some call it  “wind turbine syndrome “. Many studies have been conducted and show no evidence of these health problems being connected to wind farms and even fewer studies on wind turbines causing sickness. Although the noise that wind turbines create could cause the person to suffer from chronic sleep loss causing other health risks. As technology advances they have made more efficient and quieter wind turbines to combat this strange phenomenon. http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/green-science/wind-turbines-health2.htm
Also trump has been battling the fact that wind turbines have been killing hundreds of eagles. This fact was disproven as his accusation was over exaggerated and studies show maybe a dozen or few dozen have been killed but has not been fully researched. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/may/31/donald-trump/trump-exaggerates-wind-turbine-eagle-deaths/
There have not been many studies for these accusations and there for these statements are neither true nor false there just isn't enough evidence to back up these claims. As more and more evidence is released, but there is no denying that wind energy is a great and reliable energy source to devote government money into. Wind energy will only continue to grow as years pass making this planet less polluted is one step that wind energy does, and shouldn't be discarded until more research and studies have been conducted.
