Global-warming fear for high water!
                             By: Ian Healey

The purpose of this blog is: Global warming. Global warming is a big deal now days. Places like Greenland and others areas that have glaciers that are melting at a rate faster then we originally thought. We need to keep in mind that one day all the glaciers could melt, and we could be in trouble.

Brian Kahn said. “Using new measurements, scientists have discovered that Greenland’s ice sheet (glaciers) is losing more mass than previously thought. It’s a troubling finding for the future of coastal areas around the world.” In Greenland the heat waves are getting hotter and hotter everyday and there ice is losing more mass than is supposed to be. The ice is melting and all of the water is getting sent to the ocean, and the ocean levels are getting super high; there getting to that point where they are starting to cover the lands, and its becoming a hazard for all. The ice is melting faster then previously recorded, especially in ice areas where the ice sheet comes in direct contact with the ocean. According to Brain Kahn, climate central, he says, “If Greenland’s ice sheet melts all the way through, and they say that the ocean level will gain to at least 23 feet.” That’s crazy to think that if it does all melt, what would happen to lands and oceans, would we survive. Global warming may be a real thing in like 40 years, the earth is not moving closer to the sun, everything has not shifted over the years, and the solar system is still the same.  Michael Willis said, “That Greenland’s is one of the more pronounced contributors to the rise of the sea levels.” He is worried about flooding and how it’s going to affect the oceans and land around the ice sheets. (Glaciers)

For: There is mounting evidence that the climbing change is shirking and triggering and the thinning or many glaciers around worldwide, which may also put thousand’s or billions of people in danger. There are data gaps and GPS that are out there that will warn people and country’s about the dangers of the high sea levels, it will tell people to evacuate, the sea levels near Greenland with rise up to 23 feet, if the main glacier in Greenland melted, According to Brian Kahn. What is the definition of global warming: is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the earths climate. The planet is getting hotter from North Pole to the South Pole. The heat is not only melting the ice and the glaciers, it is also shifting precipitation patterns and setting patterns on the move.

The snow and rain fall have begun to show more and more everyday during the last past century, also the sea levels has been rising and their excepted to rise at least 7- 23 inches throughout the century, and hurricane and other types of storms are more likely to occur. Like now days we
Have hurricane Matthews and hurricane Katrina. These two types of hurricanes were deadly and some people like that they were caused do to global warming. Hurricane Katrina was one of the top 5 deadliest hurricane is the untied states, and was ranked top 3 most intense. 1,245 people were dead in the hurricane and the total property damage was estimated to be 108 billion dollars. Hurricane Katrina caused destruction over the gulf coast from Florida to Texas. Therefor Global warming is a real concern and we need to do something about it now!

Against: Many scientists make strong cases against global warming being real. They say that no significant and prolonging temperature changed since 1997. Scientists are says that there is not enough history to prove it and historical data to prove that it is real. The artic ice has increased volume by 50% since 2012 alone. Scientist who has argued against say global warming isn’t real because since the 90 there have been plenty of temperature changes. The big heat change was in and 19975 and there say that it still hasn’t changed through 1997. Scientist believes that they don’t have long time climate change or the data that they have isn’t clear enough, to make any hypothesis. Since the artic ice has went up 50% in volume, that means that global warming is not real cause that was in 2012 and than that means that some scientist have thought wrong and that the ice isn’t melting and the ocean levels will be the same. 1. http://www.conserve-energy-future.com/is-global-warming-real.php

It really depends on what side your on, I personally think that these first scientist are not correct, they try to tell you what they want you to hear. I don’t agree with these people, there’s no such thing as global warming! The ice is melting, but it’s not at a fast rate, so we don’t need to worry about it. Global warming is just a myth and I don’t like we people get into huge arguments, and then they just assume they right. Global warming may be a real thing in like 20 years, the earth is not moving closer to the sun, everything has not shifted over the years, and the solar system is still the same.
