Cancer killing Antioxidants
By: Alyssa Muhlestein

In doctor Oz, he is always talking about the signs of cancer, and how you as a person could prevent getting cancer.  Cancer is a disease that our bodies create through when you cells grow at an alarming rate. This disease can be cured, but there are some ways to make sure that you can help prevent having cancer. Many doctors have been studying cancer cells for many years now to see if they could find a cure or someway to get rid of it out of the people that already have it in them. Cancer can happen to anyone at any time and it can change your life around for you and your family.

In the article “Cancer: Facts, Causes, Symptoms” it states, Cancer harms the body when altered cells divide uncontrollably to form lumps or masses of tissue called tumors (except in the case of leukemia where cancer prohibits normal blood function by abnormal cell division in the blood stream). Tumors can grow and interfere with the digestive, nervous, and circulatory systems and they can release hormones that alter body functions. Tumors that stay in one spot and demonstrate limited growth are generally considered to be the benign.

The article wanted to state how the cancers grow but how much damage it can do to you. Cancer is really dangerous especially how fast it can spread through your body. It also stated that, “when tumors successfully spread to other parts of the body and grows, invading and destroying other healthy tissues.”

Knowing that cancer can spread so fast and that anyone can get it, there has to be a way to help prevent it from happening. About 564,000 Americans are reported to die of cancer in a year. Seeing all these deaths, I researched on ways to help me prevent or push back the time of me getting cancer and there is a couple ways to help push it back a bit. Any kind of green vegetables have been proven to help push back cancer a while or even help prevent it if you are eating right and exercising correctly.

Brussel sprouts is one of the Vegetables
that helps prevent cancer.
A question was asked, “What are the best foods to eat to fight cancer?” There is a couple of foods that best fights cancer and they are; Broccoli, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, peas, and spinach. Any kind of green vegetables helps fight cancer cells to help you overcome that trail in your life.

The human cell and a cancer cell have a big difference even though the cancer cell was formed from a cell that was rapidly growing fast. They both have a cell wall but the nucleuses are different. In the image that is shown, you can see a difference of the cells and how they are different from each other but also telling what is in both cells.

It also depends on which cancer you have because each cancer has a different cell form. A lung cancer cell is much different than a tumor in the brain. They are cancers but the cells structures change on the areas of the body they are in. they need to adjust to the areas, like us and the weather changes our bodies go through. The photo just shows the basic cancer cell to a normal human cell.

The difference between a normal human cell and a cancer cell that a human can get

In conclusion, cancer cells are dangerous and should be treated or find ways now before you get it. Any ways to help prevent any kind of cancer should be done do you don’t have to worry about having to go through treatments. Eating healthy and excising daily can help prevent you from getting it and keeps you healthy in the process. Cancer can kill but finding anyways to not get it will help save your life and maybe if you do get it, you can always fight through it and beat it.
